Humanity has disappeared. Nobody knows where they went, but we know what they left behind: trash, and lots of it. And living in that trash, synanthropes, the creatures who live in humanity’s shadow: rats, roaches, crows, cane toads, house geckos, and raccoons. Over the years they have evolved, becoming sentient civilizations, curious about the world the live in and its long-absent creators.
This is a short parlor-larp style of game, in which you’ll take on the role of a synanthrope and look at an ancient human artifact. Interpret it through the lens of your species and their assumptions about humans. Argue with those fools who see things differently. Try to convince everyone to let you keep the dang thing, because whatever it is, it’s bound to be valuable.
